Complete Dermatology is committed to serving our patients and striving to be there for you as safely as possible, understanding that medical care is an essential service and relied upon by many of you. We have instituted stringent policies and procedures in order to minimize risks to our patients and staff alike. Although we will try to minimize impacts to you, we ask for your cooperation, patience and kindness during this time that we enact these strict policies.
We ask for your utmost patience at this time as we continue to serve you. We are all in this together, but together we can get through.
Current Scheduling Priorities
We are currently scheduling most general dermatology appointments. This is subject to change, with priority given based on medical necessity. We are asking our over 70 patients to reschedule for their protection. Please consider rebooking if you are immunosuppressed or considered vulnerable in this epidemic. We are working on developing some strategies of supporting our most vulnerable patients which may include specific clinics designed to support those at higher risk.
We are not scheduling any cosmetic appointments at this time. We are looking to rebook any that are currently on the schedule.
Pre Visit Screening
Please reschedule your appointment if you have any symptom of illness. This includes:
-Shortness of Breath
-Household or other exposure to anyone with fever
When in doubt, please reschedule. No Show and Late Cancellations fees are waived at this time.
We are asking for a 14 day quarantine for anyone who has traveled outside of the state of the Hawaii OR who has been exposed to a family member who has traveled outside the state of Hawaii.
In Office Screening
Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out and sign a questionnaire regarding your health, exposures, and recent travel. Upon entrance to the back office, we will be taking your temperature.
We ask that you practice social distancing in the waiting room. To support this effort, we have reduced some of the chairs in the waiting room and provided you with options to wait outside or in your car.
We also ask that you limit your accompanying visitors to the practice. If you are not able to come alone, we ask that you bring no more than one person with you into the actual back office. All visitors to the back office will also be required to follow the same screening procedures.
Just as we are screening our patients, we are also screening our staff. Temperatures are checked twice daily in all clinics and include all personnel including providers. In addition, we are taking extra precautions to any exposures that employees may have had and asking them to stay home if there is any doubts about their condition or exposure. Please bear in mind that this may have impacts on our ability to see patients, but we be unwavering in our commitment to provide the safest environment we can and will prioritize that over patient volume. So we do ask that you please be patient at this time.
We are well stocked on sanitation supplies and use hospital grade disinfectant to routinely disinfect waiting rooms, door knobs, and patient rooms. We have hand sanitizers available throughout the practice, for patients and staff use.
We will continue to update our policies and to evolve our practice to provide more opportunities to access care during this crisis. We are currently working on virtual wait room and telemedicine as options that will becoming available in the near future.
Again, we thank you for your patronage and loyalty. We, in turn, give our unwavering commitment to serve you as safely as possible during this time.
