Dr. Eikenberg is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He comes from an academic practice on the east coast, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology. He trained residents and students, served on several local and state committees, and authored articles published in scientific journals. He continues to serve on national committees in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Dr. Eikenberg completed his medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. During medical school he also earned a Master of Public Health degree, graduating with Honors from his program. He went on to complete his dermatology residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of medicine, serving as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Eikenberg first came to Hawaii when he was selected to present research at the Rising Derm Stars Competition at the 2019 Winter Clinical Dermatology Conference in Koloa, Hawaii. He and his wife fell in love with the beauty of Hawaii and its Aloha spirit. They look forward to becoming part of the Hawaii community and providing care to Central and West Oahu.
He is excited to explore Hawaii, including the hikes, the beaches, and the diverse culinary experiences.
