Dr. Theresa Flament, MD
Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship-Trained Dermatologic Surgeon
"While I treat many skin diseases, I have a special interest in skin cancers. By using the Mohs technique for treatment of skin cancer, I can provide the highest cure rates, while still conserving the most normal skin. I also have experience in reconstructive surgery, which often allows me to repair the surgical defects that very day in the office."
Dr. Flament is superbly trained in skin disease, skin cancer, Mohs surgery and reconstructive surgery. She earned her Medicine Doctorate at University of Missouri, Columbia. She completed her training in Dermatology and subsequently Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Surgery at the University of Minnesota (UMN). The Mohs fellowship is one of the esteemed programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Flament is now an established fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and of the American College of Mohs Surgery (FACMS), and is board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
Prior to joining Complete Dermatology, Dr. Flament had a successful tenure at Park Nicollet in Minnesota, serving as Mohs surgeon and Medical Director of the Mohs lab and also as faculty at UMN, directly teaching medical students and dermatology residents.
In her free time, Dr. Flament enjoys volunteer and community service activities, SCUBA diving, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. We welcome her to our practice Ohana with a warm Aloha!
