Alex Carcamo, M.D. is a superbly trained Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon who earned his Medicine Doctorate from Harvard Medical School and completed his Specialty Training in Dermatology in the Harvard Dermatology Residency Program.
During his studies at Harvard Medical School Dr. Carcamo distinguished himself among the top medical students in the nation achieving honors in 12 of 15 clinical rotations including Dermatology and Dermatopathology and represented Harvard Medical School in Leadership positions of the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society. While at Harvard, he also performed a Scientific Research Fellowship at the prestigious Harvard Skin Disease Research Institute.

As a Dermatology resident at Harvard, Dr. Carcamo gained vast experience diagnosing and treating a wide array of acute and chronic skin conditions including dermatologic emergencies, skin cancer and cosmetic problems requiring laser treatment.

Dr. Carcamo rounded out his training with a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Carcamo is a well published author on a host of topics including cutaneous lymphoma, laser skin resurfacing, radiofrequency and botulinum toxin for the treatment of wrinkles. He has been an invited speaker at a number of prestigious Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Conferences including those of the International Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Carcamo is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.

On his time off, Dr. Carcamo enjoys hiking, and swimming in our beautiful beaches. He also enjoys tennis and golf!
