Justin K. Maio , PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant. He studied at Oregon State University, receiving his Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Exercise Sport and Science in 2003 and 2004 respectively, where he graduated with Suma Cum Laude honors. In 2003, he was selected as the National Association of Sport and Physical Education Major of the Year. In 2011, he became a Native Hawaiian Health Scholar and earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Pacific University in 2013.

While in clinical training, he completed rotations in dermatology, emergency medicine, general and orthopedic surgery, and internal medicine. It was during this time that he discovered his appreciation for the joys and challenges specific to the field of dermatology.

Prior to joining Complete Dermatology, Justin practiced primary care, working with Honolulu's underserved community at Waikiki Health. During his down time, he trained and worked at another general/cosmetic dermatology practice. His training and diverse experience history have equipped Justin to be comfortable in treating a variety of skin conditions in patients of all backgrounds.

When he's away from the clinic, Justin enjoys surfing, spending time with his family (preferably at the beach) and exercising at the local Crossfit affiliate. He's looking forward to joining the Complete Dermatology ohana and is eager to meet you.
