Eric Yukumoto, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant that received his undergraduate degree at Pacific University in 2004 with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then went on to do his Master of Physician Assistant degree at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, California in 2008, where he co-authored an article entitled, “Iatrogenic Osteoporosis in Dermatology” that was published in the International Journal of Dermatology. During his clinical training he completed rotations in Internal Medicine, General Surgery and General Dermatology. Additionally, Eric performed further training in Dermatologic Surgery performing biopsies and excisions. His training has endowed him with the clinical experience to diagnose and treat various skin cancers, rashes, acne and other disorders of the skin, hair and nails. Patients have appreciated the superb care of Eric in our practice over the last 9 years.
Eric was born and raised on Oahu with his family in Aiea and is very familiar with the customs and lifestyle of being a local Hawaii boy. After finishing his Physician Assistant degree, Eric knew he wanted to return to Hawaii to be near family and give back to his community.
Eric enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, especially during potlucks, where he gets to eat all kinds of food. He loves playing tennis for the exercise, but also for the competition during USTA League tennis. He always remembers to set a good example by wearing and reapplying his zinc oxide based sunscreen whenever he's enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian sun.
